Wilier Triesina bicycles undergo a series of tests as part of their production.
The frame prototypes,which are made from carefully selected materials,must pass stress tests before entering into production so as to have the proper specificatons.
Before final assembly at the Rossano Veneto facility, the finished frames are then tested for resistance to torsion on a new macie withe precision to the micro millimeter.
This in-house equipment,demanded by Wilier Triestina to further guarantee the quality of their products,acts together with a system of pressure and levers and is cpable of measuring the stiffness of the frames in the head set,bottom bracket,chain stays,fork and in the structure as a whole.This additional inspection allows for a supply of product to the client with total certainly of compliance with the strictest safety parameters.The electronic measurement of the stiffness represents an important contribution to product development and design,and will come to be utilized to verify the consistency of the product as well as to test the personalized frames requested by professional teams.
